ID requirements for minors
We're so excited to guide you and your minor through your piercing journey!
Our piercers are members of the Association of Professional Piercers, dedicated to providing you with a safe, educational, and fun piercing experience. Please bring these required documents to your minor’s appointment. They must be the physical documents: photographs or digital copies cannot be accepted.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian in order to be pierced.
If proper documentation cannot be provided at the time of your appointment, a cancelation fee will be charged.
Parent or guardian photo ID
A valid, government-issued photo ID for the parent or legal guardian accompanying the minor to their appointment.
Minor’s birth certificate
The minor’s birth certificate with the parent or legal guardian’s name listed. If you are a legal guardian not listed on the minor’s birth certificate, please bring your guardianship paperwork.
Minor’s photo ID
We need to match your minor’s birth certificate to their face! Examples of accepted photo ID:
- Passport or state ID (must be valid)
- Yearbook picture with the minor’s name
- School ID
